Front yard, carport, porch & entry doors. Mike & Sara Fowler were with us this day (6/9/07) to scope out & plan the extent of repairs & remodel work. We have contracted Mike to do the job - I am sure he'll show up in future pictures.
This is a view from inside the sunroom. There is blue/gray carpet throughout the house that we will be removing to expose hard wood oak floors (except in the hallways, baths, & mudroom where we are putting large saltillo-like tiles).
View of kitchen from dining room. I love the stained wood cabinets - SO glad prior owners didn't paint!

Looking back from the red wall in previous picture toward dining area. Hallway seen on left leads to master bedroom. Hallway on right shows back door.

This is guest bath. The plumbing in this room as leaked over the years leaving significant damage to the floors. We will be gutting this room down to the studs & replace the plumbing, flooring, bathtub, toilet...well, everything but the mirror is going!
Utility room. The washer/dryer sat behind this (the back) door and under a window. We are knocking out a wall & incorporating the small closet in the master to make a larger mud room. H2O heater will go into a small closet across the room and the washer/dryer will sit in the enlarged area where water heater now sits.
Master bath. South end of a long, narrow room. This double sink is going into the guest bath. We're repurposing this space to make a smaller bath & a walk-in closet.
North end of master bath has a stall shower. In the remodel, this area will be closet.
Facing driveway, vine-covered stucco wall defines "back" yard - the northern part of the property.

View of living room from the dining area. Nice wood underneath carpet! Great potential.
These windows are absolutely beautiful & are in place throughout the house.
Yard outside back door.
Side gate (off carport) into back yard. Very cool tree back there with knobby, knarled trunk (weeping mulberry? or something like that).
This is off the carport (porch barely seen at left). We have lots of trees and greenery! We've had significant rainfall this year - everything is overgrown and in desperate need of a landscape/irrigation professional!
